iPhone OS 3
Today, Apple broadcasts there will be a major software upgrade for our iPhones, and as I watched the
demo video, really amazing for the mobile world. First time in the
history. The snapshots of the movie can be seen at this

I am holding off my purchase of an iPhone, waiting for the latest to be released in a few months time, I want the 3.0 OS, lalo na yung cut and paste,
he he he.
For now tyaga muna ako sa Nokia N82 Titanium ko.

i just installed beta 5 yesterday and it's a lot more stable and faster than beta 4. it still drains the battery quicker than 2.2, but am not
complaining. i love the new features such as copy/paste and landscape SMS.

If it's official globe. Then yes. If its another. Wait till friday. The dev team will release a jailbreak for os 3

anyone tried the mms feature yet?
i tried it using the following mms settings (Smart)
SMART Philippines
MMS Settings:
MMSC: 10.102.61.238:8002
Proxy: 10.102.61.46:8080
MMS-APN: mms
I tried sending an MMS (not an iPhone but using Smart also). The message was sent but it won't open.

problem with the OS3. i dunno if its just me. but AFTER i upgraded my iphone 3G to OS3. i started hearing the static interference from desk
speakers. plus, the battery life diminished immensely. i usually have it on standby mode without the need for charging for 2 or more days. but
after upgrading, my phone runs out of battery after 5 hours or so... im pretty pissed off.
i am not under any command to make the world a better place.

OFFLINE JAILBREAK OF OS3
Is that possible? I'm working as a seaman and I got chance to hook on the net once in a blue moon. (The last time was two months ago..  )
That means I am in bad need of having all the necessary things (installers, tools, etc) for Mac OS 10.5.8 downloaded, and perform the Jailbreak and
unlock without the internet (since I use different SimCards of different countries wherever I go...)
Someone please help. THanks.

my phone's finally jailbroken... no way to have it done offline... anyway, how would I know if my phone is iPhone 3GS or the iPhone 3G? I
bought this from Globe, during their first release sa philippines last year... can someone tell me please? I'm confused because the iPhone 3G
from Apple site is only 8G... mine's 16G...

You have the iPhone 3G, the 16GB version, the 3GS was released only last month, I'm not sure if Globe has it though. I got my 8GB 3G from Globe
last year too.

Yeah thanks... Got it. I thought the demo I got from iTunes features the new capabilities of the iPhone OS3... Too bad... I don't have the
digital magnetic compass, and I don't have the focus thing for my cam... I still like my phone still. This is the best features a phone can
have (except for the 3GS).
